A Different Life

There’s a world as you know it. And a world that could be. A place where you can see life unfold below you from your tower of solace. This is the world of Tata Housing’s brand new offering at Banashankari, Bengaluru.
It’s called The Promont.
A crest of 4 majestic towers spread across 14 acres, on top of Bengaluru’s exclusive hill, bringing you luxury like you’ve never imagined. The world is truly different here.

The Promont

Welcome to a breathtaking offering of 320 double height terraced garden residences looking down at the tapestry of Bengaluru. Life at The Promont is more than just luxury accouterments and inspired architecture. It’s the feeling you get as you step out into your terraced garden and soak in the expanse of a city that’s sprawled below you.

It’s then that you realize that you’re no longer in the grinding machinations of the city. But high above it, looking down with a new sense of calm and cleansing. It’s almost as if you’ve left the weight of the world down in gravity’s care and risen above it all. This is the feeling. This is the life.

The Inspiration

Bricks and mortar seldom make a masterpiece. It all starts with inspiration. Which is why we commissioned Moshe Safdie, one of the world’s finest architects and the visionary behind Singapore’s Marina Bay Sands, Canada’s Habitat ‘67 and China’s Golden Dream Bay

One look at The Promont and you’ll understand where the inspiration all began. Built on a unique outcrop, or promontory, The Promont is an essay in height and grandeur. It’s like we’ve taken a page out of the Hanging Gardens of Babylon and scripted our own masterpiece for Bengaluru on Banashankari hill.

As you take the gentle path up the slope, you’ll see the cascading architecture almost flowing down the hill. And as you summit after the refreshing ride you’re treated to expanse and serenity all around you. It’s this access to openness that is the essence of The Promont. Coupled with it being your own gated community, you get the feeling of being high above, apart and still not too aloof from the city.

The Landscaping

While conceiving the design for THE PROMONT, special attention was paid to landscaping. Keeping in mind the spectacular location and height, a handpicked selection of locally sourced materials were slated fro the construction. Care and effort was taken to choose the right kind of stones.

The colour, the shadings and sustainability were evaluated in detail before selection to marry aesthetics with functionality. The entire landscaping was done keeping the requirements of IGBC Green Homes in mind, to deliver a construction that’s not just right for the residents, but for the environment as well.

The Residences

Sprawled across 14 acres on your private hill, The Promont residences are designed for elegance and spacious living. Residences are exclusively 3 and 4 bedroom apartments and penthouses, with spaces ranging from 2376 sq.ft. to 6410 sq.ft., with special attention to luxury and space in each apartment. Each room is designed with an emphasis on glass windows and minimal obstructions to amplify the sense of the city around you.

Each residence has been thoughtfully sketched and created to accommodate open living and dining areas, master and guest bedrooms with en-suite bathing facilities and sleek, comfortable kitchen spaces. The glass facades and shuttered doors lead you to a double height terraced garden which brings you that extra touch of breathing space. There’s ample opportunity here to indulge your green thumb or meditate with the city below.

The Luxury Living

A single step into a Promont apartment and you’ll notice the thought and craft that’s gone behind it. Open the natural teak finished doors and feel the smooth touch of Volakas marble under your feet. Your capacious bathrooms come with a Jacuzzi and bathtub in 4-bedroom apartments. The fixtures and fittings are nothing short the best from Duravit and Hansgrohe.

You’ll find a special emphasis on clear glass windows to let in the sunlight and the majestic view of Bengaluru below. Both at your beck and call at the motion of your motorized curtains. With an international branded modular kitchen, motion-sensor lighting, an earthquake resistant structure, you could say your Promont apartment has been built with a vision.

Design Philosophy

The lines and angles drawn by THE PROMONT across the Bengaluru skyline spell modernity and contemporary style. This is a bold step in design and stylish living with double height lobbies in each of the 4 Towers complimented with double height cantilevered terraced gardens in each of the 320 residences. The genius lies in the positioning of these terraced gardens. You’ll notice that each garden faces 90 degrees away from the other, ensuring privacy for every resident in addition to expansive views of the city below.

Over 84 meters tall, THE PROMONT will reign as the tallest in Bengaluru and the undisputed icon of the city.  The fundamentals behind the design philosophy are:
