Over the years , The company has given the country many land mark projects, Petit Towers in Mumbai, TATA House (23, Prithviraj Road) in Delhi, TATA Sherwood in Bangalore and Villa Paradiso in Goa. With its major focus on consumer research & understandings the consumer’s needs, the company has tried to bring Innovative product to the market. As a category first, the company had launched Technopolis Knowledge Park in Mumbai, which was India’s first IT Campus.

Keeping in line with the same legacy, last year TATA HOUSING has launched “Xylem - Bangalore’s first LEEDS Gold rated Green IT Park”, on Whitefield Main Road.

This carefully thought after campus has been designed to tackle the “sick building syndrome”, with its major focus on Occupants Health, Ergonomic Design and Architecture it enhances employee productivity and professional welfare. The building has the following Green Building Features designed to boost occupant’s health and reduce operational cost:

1. The building is designed to be approximately 19% more efficient in operational cost as compared to a conventional building
a) 26.6% on Air-conditioning, 34.1% on Water Supply and 1.6% on Common Area Power
2. The workspaces are supplied with 22 CFM of fresh air compared to 15 CFM in a conventional building to better ventilate the workspace
3. Energy efficient air conditioning saves up to 26% of energy consumption as compared to that of conventional building
4. Similarly energy efficient water and light fixture are used to save energy
5. Stasis lounges with biophilic feature at different levels of the building
6. Reduction of heat island effect by the use of double glazing glass, aluminum aerofoil louvers

Apart from Green Building Features, Xylem has the following features:

Total size: 240,490 sq.ft

1. Large floor plate of 50,000 sq.ft, which can be divided into 2 distinct workspaces with exclusive utilities like separate AHU Rooms, toilets etc.
2. Separate Service elevators for each workspace
3. Fire escape staircase for each Workspace, separate wash room facilities for each Workspace
4. Spacious common lobby with 6 high speed Passenger elevators and staircases;
5. 100% power backup
6. Two Tier 24 X 7 Security
7. Integrated Building Management system
8. Double-height air conditioned atrium
9. Fully equipped Clubhouse with Jacuzzi, GYM, steam, sauna and saloon.
10. Separate ground floor amenities like café, ATM, pool table, common meeting rooms
11. Physically challenged friendly architecture
12. High car paking ratio spread over 2 basements, ground and the first floor
